Pallet trucks are an important type of equipment for transportation in industry

Pallet jacks are used as universal transportation equipment in the workshops and warehouses of various industrial sectors. There are special types of pallet jacks in addition to the standard models mainly used to transport pallets, flat pallets, lattice box pallets and another types of pallets.

The operation mode is also a point of distinction between the different trucks. Manually operated pallet trucks are commonly used. Electrically operated pallet trucks are mainly used in warehouses. Scissor pallet jacks are a special type, which enable goods to be lifted to great heights and be loaded into machines or onto shelves. The hand pallet jack is ideal for manual transportation solutions over short distances and they commonly have a carrying capacity of up to 3,000kg. There are also electric pallet trucks available with a seat, upon which the operator can sit to control the truck comfortably. These are particularly suitable for the internal transportation of pallets over a long distance. Another version is one without a seat, where the driver of the lift truck operates it from a standing position. All operating elements are easily accessible. The models mentioned before are mainly used indoors. Special Cat lift trucks are available for outdoor use and on rough terrain like construction sites and can undertake transportation tasks such as unloading trailers. The largest types of a pallet jack (for example, forklifts or cranes) are used to transport containers.

Scissor lifts and models where the operator drives up with the goods are most suitable for shelving pallets high up.
