LIESCOTHERM Heater

Generally, heating units are differentiated between those used in industrial and private settings. Heaters for private use are generally powered using the following raw materials: heating gas, heating oil, electricity or heat pumps. The last few years, pellet heating systems have become more popular. There are other standards set for the industrial sector because often, entire factory workshops need to be heated. There is a lot of emphasis placed on powerful heating systems with extras such as heat recovery and circulation fans that are controlled by intelligent systems.
  • Heat recovery, circulation and ventilation are important for industrial settings
  • Heating units are available in a variety of options and they are used in all sectors
Quality   Great offers   Personalized Factories often use radiated heat in order to avoid the floor and lower areas of the workshop being affected by heat. Another variation is floor heating, which has the advantage that no production space needs to be wasted. Fossil fuels are mainly used as heating materials. Due to generous subsidies from the government, renewable energy is currently often used. These can be photovoltaic systems or also solar thermal units, which are used an energy source for heating systems. Solar thermal hot water systems are now commonly used to warm tap water and for the water cycle of respective heating systems. The main goal of this new development is to save costs. A further type of effective heating is the use of geothermal heating. Heat pump heaters use the difference in water temperature during removal and return. They function in the opposite manner to a refrigerator. Only a few degrees difference is enough to, for example, economically provide under floor heating with geothermal energy. In the woodworking sectors, chippings are created as a result of sawing and planing. These chippings are then pressed into pellets and sold, or used in special heating units for the warming of production workshops or offices.

Panel radiators are mainly used in industry. These are primarily hung from the ceiling of the workshop. The industrial workshops are then able to maintain a comfortable room temperature, using the radiated heat. Heating units are available for a large variety of uses. Biomass plants and combined heat and power systems are available as stationary or portable units. This makes the heating of construction sites possible. Large space heaters are usually found in public and cultural institutions. Greenhouse heaters are used in the agricultural industry to optimise yield. Nowadays boilers are equipped with modern technologies and allow rooms to be heated with low CO2 emissions. Industrial heating is usually organised and planned by special architecture firms for this industry, to avoid planning errors.

Several companies have specialised in the manufacturing of heaters. Some of the most recommended suppliers include ÖKOPEN PELLETSHEIZUNG, BUDERUS, WEISSHAUPT, EWITHERM, KAITEC, ELCO HEIZTECHNIK, RADIASANCAL HEIZLEISTEN, WINDHAGER ZENTRALHEIZUNG, JUNKERS, SCHWANK, ZEHNDER, LK METALLWAREN, EKA, FENNE and KÜBLER.
