BÜTFERING is a German company specialized in sanders. During its 60 years of history, the brand produced and distributed these tools, specially the wide belt sanders. In the present time, BÜTFERING is one of the main providers of wood sanders in Europe.

In 1946 Franz and Anton Bütgering created this company and named it after them. It was borned as a family business in Dortmund, but the economic impact caused by the Second World War was such that the two brothers had to look for alternatives in the international market. As a result, the company started producing furniture in Germany and exporting it to the rest of Europe, this strategy was very successful and allowed the brand to expand and invest in technology innovations which guaranteed today's success.

The German company BÜTFERING is specialized in every kind of wide belt sanders. Its different models go from reduced size, recommended for domestic use, to big size with industrial purposes. The company also offers advice, training and documentation of its machines as part of the service, so the users can have the best results from the purchased products. BÜTFERING also installs the equipment and the software required to use the sanders and provides maintenance of the machines.

The wide band sanders from BÜTFERING are distributed to more than 100 different countries all over the world. The company owns factories in 60 countries, where more than 5000 workers are hired. The employees cover every sector of the market, from engineers to administration and marketing professionals. These facts contribute to position the brand nowadays as one of the leaders in the market.
